Holiday luminaries line Old Hunt Road in FRG
On December 23rd and 24th of 2021, residents of Old Hunt Road in Fox River Grove celebrated the holidays by lining the sidewalk with candles. Citizens of Old Hunt Road received a letter about the event and were allowed to pick up a bag of luminaries with directions on how to arrange them. Participants had the choice to donate $10 in a fundraiser known as Bringing in Christmas. On Christmas Eve, I took a walk to go see the beautiful candles, which complemented the widespread Christmas decorations. Lighting candles is a holiday tradition on Old Hunt Road and candle lightings are planned for 2022.
